At The Simple Auto Shop, our business policy is built on honesty, transparency, and quality service. We provide clear estimates before any work begins, communicate openly throughout the repair process, and stand behind the work we do. Our goal is to ensure every customer feels confident, informed, and satisfied with their experience.

At The Simple Auto Shop, we take pride in delivering honest and dependable auto repair services to our Virginia community. The following policies help ensure transparency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
1. Estimates & Authorization

In accordance with Virginia law (§ 46.2-1235), written or digital estimates will be provided.

No repairs will be made without customer approval. You will be notified if any additional issues are discovered during service.
2. Warranty on Parts & Labor
-
We stand behind our work with a 2 Year, 24,000 mile Nation Wide Worry Free Warranty (unless otherwise specified).

OEM and aftermarket parts may carry additional manufacturer warranties.
3. Payment Policy
-
Full payment is required at the time of vehicle pickup. Mechanics liens may be placed on vehicles until repairs are paid for in full.

We accept cash, major credit/debit cards, and select financing options.

Checks may be accepted at management’s discretion.
4. Vehicle Storage
-
Vehicles not picked up within 48 hours of repair completion may incur a daily storage fee of up to $25/day.

The Simple Auto Shop is not responsible for any personal items left in vehicles, we will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the vehicle or articles left in vehicle in case of fire, theft, accident or any other cause beyond the control of The Simple Auto Shop.
5. Diagnostics

Diagnostic fees apply for identifying issues and are non-refundable.
6. Safety, Licensing & Insurance

Our technicians are certified and follow all safety regulations.

We are fully licensed and insured as required by the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

We follow all environmental disposal and recycling guidelines.
7. Privacy

We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. Any information you provide when requesting a quote or scheduling a service is used solely to fulfill your request. We do not share your information with third parties, except when necessary to complete your service or as required by law.
